MS Paper Bldg About Mississippi Paper Company, LLC

Mississippi Paper Company was founded in August 1960, as a branch of Paper Products Company of Memphis, Tennessee. The original owners, Sidney L. Kahn, Arthur H. Katz (deceased), and Dick Eiseman, decided to establish a branch company to service the Northeast Mississippi and Northwest Alabama areas because of expanding populations and economies. During those early years, and with the help of a great many people, the company grew faster than expected. People like Chuck McConnell (Union Camp), Lee McGuiness (Chippewa Paper Products), Dick Boehmer (C. H. Boehmer Sales Agency), George W. Mouk (George W. Mouk and Associates), Bob Kenner (Crystal Tissue), Ed Taylor (Nashua Tape), and Mike Woods (Cellu-Products/Sealed Air Corporation), worked tirelessly with our sales representatives to develop street business.

MS Paper Bldg In June of 1999, Mississippi Paper Company was reincorporated by Walter S. Scott, Jr. with the same vision and ideas that started the company four decades ago. In August of 1999, Mississippi Paper Company entered into a Partnership through an operating agreement with Jimmy Pierce Trucking, LLC. In August of 2002, Mississippi Paper Company assumed financial responsibility of the truck fleet, but continued its partnership with Jimmy Pierce Trucking, LLC.

For forty years, Mississippi Paper Company, LLC. has worked under the same guiding principle upon which it was founded; providing the area with a local business that distributes paper products and related items with a personal attention to each and every customer.
